Holiday mood?

Not really. I'm really trying to enjoy and make the best of this holiday and to be honest it's not HORRIBLE, but I'm just kinda stressed out.
1) I couldn't bring my laptop cause my mum wouldn't let me- which leads to the next point.
2) I can't give my group mates any work I've done and I haven't even finished my essay which is due the next day I'm coming back.
3) I can't work on my essay and I'm really stressed cause even if i come back on the third. when I reach Singapore it'll probably be really really late and already the fourth. AND MY SUBMISSION IS ON THE FOURTH BEFORE TWELVE.
4) I still have video production filming to worry about, submission is the week after.

Trying really hard to mute my thoughts and yeah, there's good food and all- pictures to come next time, but I kinda really want to go back to Singapore :'(
I have wifi because I'm camping in the lobby (just reached this beach island called Boracay, google it if you want to know where exactly) and the wifi is really slow too and I just feel incapable of doing anything while I'm here :(

Birthday/Christmas/Philippines

Hi so that's me <- trying to be surprised that I had a cake even though I knew it all along that there was gonna be a cake :p Anyway I'm just gonna quickly be a complete spaz about everything so here goes: omgimfinally17icantbelieveitanditwasmybirthdayyesterdayanditwasawesomeandicantputitintowords.

If you actually bothered to figure out what I was writing I am impressed (Y) 

Oh and I'm not gonna blog pictures from that night cause there are too many and I can't decide which ones I want to post. 

The dinner/not-really-a-party, turned out really well! At first I told them there was an exotic filipino dish with snake and they believed me and it was kinda funny. 

My house was kinda overwhelming with so many people and it smelled weird but they kept complimenting my mum's cooking and the company was good :) 

So on 24 Dec, I actually didn't have any plans on my birthday and there were visitors over at my house yesterday so my parents just left me alone at home to fend for myself, and that's what I did, and my birthday turned out to be awesome in the end :) 

Look at all the pretty polaroids I took with these awesome people today :D Yes, it deserves a stupid looking big smiley face. I had lunch with my family and other families at Dana's house (The one whose lap I am shamelessly sitting on on the right) And that's her adorable little sister on the left :)

Ended up talking to her for more than an hour! So random and surprising, but it has been a good day. 

Look at all the lovely cards and little tidbits that everyone gave me :') And this is really not to brag, I just really am very grateful for everyone who gave me cards cause I really love reading them! 

(Special mention to Dai Qian cause she came all the way down to church to give me my card and stuff! Sorry I was in such a rush. THANK YOU!) 

And also to my two favourite peopleeeeee, you know who you are, for giving me the nicest card I've ever received and for giving me my favourite chocolate in the entire world! Yes, it's Easter Maltesers but it's MALTESERS, I don't care if it's the wrong occasion hehe. 

So I'm flying off to Philippines tomorrow! Not exactly thrilled but I don't want to dread it so I'm trying to change my attitude about the trip. My mum's really stressed tonight- for the past few days and it's been hard :/ but I'm gonna try to make the most of the trip- bracing myself for my most-hated mode of transport *pukes* I get really air sick :x I'll be back on the 3rd, night time, plus I'm not sure if I have wifi there sooooo goodbye and have a good rest-of-the-holiday.

HI PEOPLE OF THE WORLD- or more like selected few who actually take time to read this.

So I changed my phone two days ago and I lost all my pictures- yes, don't talk about it, I'm pretty sad but at least half of my pictures are in my laptop/people's phones! (Thank God for Whatsapp) So there will be no pictures this post :'( oh well.

Anyway, so from 9-13, I was at camp and I'm not really very sure what I did on the 14th, I know I just woke up at 2 plus and pigged around the whole day. On the 15th was Christmas With The Community at my church and I was helping out at the hot dog booth for like, five minutes and somehow the people kept flooding in and I got really distracted and spent an hour talking :x

AND TODAYYYY, I HAD DIM SUM YUM. With a group of wonderful people at Swee Choon :) YAY.
I kind of don't really know what exactly I'm saying, not sure if I have a concussion (okay no, I don't, im kidding) when my head got banged by the stupid MRT train doors on the way home on the purple line today :/ In my defense, I didn't know the doors were closing and it really hurt when it hit me HAHA

Back to youth camp, so I spent one year with the camp committee, getting to know all of them and I'm really so happy/blessed to have met them- if I didn't have camp, some amazing friendships might not even have been formed...
OH and thanks to Dai Qian for coming this year! I hope you had fun, if you're reading this :)
Now that's camp over, it's kinda bittersweet, like I'll miss the planning, and the meetings every Sunday- it sort of became an enjoyable routine I had for the entire year.

a picture filled post

Started out the day yesterday with Ms Pingster's lecture xmas edition- and she gave us candy canes and all :') 

And the favourite lecturer of all time goes to Ms Kwa (Y) 

After that we went to go get our magazine cover and spread printed at Poster Connection at Sunshine Plaza/Bugis! 

Super super proud of the magazine project! THANKS KIM :) 

So while we were waiting for those boards to finish printing, we went to this super purple and tiny cafe to slack. We were all on our crash mode so we just sat there and talked to Siri. 

So enjoy the photos of KimKimKimberly- we found out she blends with the walls. HAHAHAHA

Went to yet another cafe at Tanjong Pagar, a proper one this time :p It's called "SPR MRKT"- it's really pretty, probably one of the top three nicest cafes that I've been. It's really christmas-y! And somehow you feel really disconnected from the rest of the world, which was nice :)

Counting down the number of days to youth camp :D Yes, even though that big smiley looks retarded, I'm putting it anyway to express my excitement. 

I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE HOLIDAYS. 

Anyway, all the pictures are very Zahrah related. Isn't the bear adorable?! I waved to it yesterday. (I sound like I'm high but I'm not I promise! I'm just really bored/tired in class) 

So she just posed with the bear wall, yup.

A saturday that didn't feel like a saturday

HI PEOPLE OF THE WORLD. 

Such a pretty sight no? Got that shot while on the rooftop while filming yesterday afternoon :) It was nearing sunset time (we actually googled cause we wanted the perfect scene setting hahaha) 

Filmed till eleven last night at Zahrah's place at BUANGKOK. Do you even know where that is? Until yesterday I didn't. So you can imagine what time I got home.

Let's take some time to remember how Mr Tan (my form teacher/video production teacher) went MIA the entire day and just went to her house at 8pm-ish and sat in the massage chair like a boss. 

Also how he appeared from the middle of nowhere and whispered "BOO!" in my ear and how I almost dropped the dslr in shock. 

THANKS MR TAN. 

But anyway, I was dreading having to wake up at 6 this morning and going for the field trip- we went to Keat Hong Camp and watched the NS guys' passing out parade for some course. They all look the same :O 

But I had a nice surprise in the morning which really made my entire day so thank you :') 

I got to spend some time with the gorgeous Nabila (I mean she looks like a doll doesn't she?!) *hides face behind hers* 

We were supposedly going to edit after the field trip but the plan completely changed and we ended up slacking off and having lunch at Star Vista/Manhattan Fish Market instead. (No pictures of food for you because I was so hungry I just gobbled my food down. Yes, I suffered the consequences of eating so quickly and got a major major stomach ache. Random picture of Tiny Pinocchio AJ there while we were walking around (Y) 

Side note: (right picture) DONT THEY LOOK CUTE TOGETHER?!? AWWWW. To clarify before Kim murders me on Monday, they're not together. I'm just being pat.

I did get some work done in church after lunch though so I'm quite happy :) It's just editing editing editing. Plus I'm kind of a perfectionist which means I'll be editing all day tomorrow again ugh.

THAT, plus the stand chart 10k run! It's probably the worst time to run a marathon seriously :'( drowning in all my work but cannot waste money, at most i'll walk the last quarter?
