So I'm writing this as I eat my onion rings at BK 45 minutes before work.
My 3G isn't working, and my wifi at home isn't either- Singtel said to wait 1-2 hours. I think it's a service provider problem.
As I sat eating dinner, I really literally didn't know what to do. I realised that sub consciously I'm using 3G all the time- even if I'm doing devotion on my phone, I need 3G for that, how ironic.
So I was thinking, what did they do back at the time (which wasn't even that long ago) when there wasn't any Internet. They funny thing is that they seemed satisfied with their lives and didn't look crippled like we are nowadays.
For school, if they had to do research my guess is they had to go to the library and actually look for the book, something which we, or at least I rarely even do nowadays.
I talk about hating e books but I read books on my phone anyway (hypocriteeeeeeeee)
Basically, Internet has made me lazy. I can carry the Bible anywhere I go, it's barely even considered 'weight' but I don't. Why? Cause 'I have a Bible on my phone anyway.' And now that my 3G isn't working, I can't open the Bible AND my iPhone is useless.
Somehow technology has made life easier yet at the same time some things were lost.
Oh well, thoughts over. Bye bye
